MK10: BEN TRE - MANGO MEKONG DELTA DAY CRUISE

7:30 AM - 8:00 AM: Begin your day with a warm welcome from our expert guide and comfortable transportation at your hotel lobby.

10:00 AM: Dive into the heart of Ben Tre take in the breathtaking scenery. Take a brief stroll through a picturesque village with colorful gardens and charming houses. Embark on a peaceful river cruise through the serene tributaries of Ben Tre province, taking in the natural beauty as you go (cruise time: about 30 minutes).

11:00 AM: Docks at the peaceful "Bao Island," where you can get off the boat and explore the enchanting Coconut Garden. In the middle of this paradise, sip on the nectar of freshly harvested coconuts.

11:30 AM: Head back to the cruise ship and visit a nearby coconut processing plant by rowing down the river. Set off on a 4-kilometer cycling tour around the village of Huu Dinh. Visit a brick factory to observe the age-old techniques used in brick-making.

12:30 PM: Enjoy a relaxing rowing sampan ride through lovely canals as you immerse in Ben Tre's serene beauty. After 15 minutes of exploring, you will arrive at the local house of Mrs. Huong for a visit, a quaint local whose livelihood consists of farming, fishing, and trapping shrimp. Enjoy honeyed tea and tropical treats in her beautiful garden.

13:30 PM: Enjoy a tri-motorcycle (xe loi) ride through the narrow town roads that are surrounded by coconut palm trees & greenery for a truly thrilling experience.

14:00 PM: Get back on your day cruiser and head to Home Restaurant for a delectable five-course lunch.

Menu for the 5-course lunch:

Chicken rice noodle sour soup with pineapple and tomatoes

Deep-fried Tilapia fillet with lemongrass and turmeric

 14:30 PM: After lunch, hop on a bicycle and ride 500-meter to Mr. Ba Tài's house to discover how rice wine is made. The highlight of the day is seeing the legendary rice paper makers of My Long village, Mr. Sau Tuong, a brave former Vietcong soldier and his skilled wife. Have a nice discussion with him, savor the crispy rice paper, and take in the creativity that went into making it..

15:30 PM: Ending the day with a boat ride back to Ben Tre City and a car ride back to Saigon, completing through a day full of culinary and cultural excursions.
